Googlepalooza Tidewater will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Jones Magnet Middle School, 1819 Nickerson Blvd, Hampton, Virginia. Check this link for location information. 

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Wireless is available and you are encouraged to bring your own device. 

Printed copies of the schedule will not be available. If you create a login, you can save and print your schedule. NOTE: All sessions are first-come, first-served. Indicating interest does not guarantee a seat.

So, you want your students to be creative more and apply what they are learning in a way that would be easy for them to do and not much direction on your part? Well, Google Drawings may be the answer to your dilemma! Students are told constantly to "show your work" yet they do not always have the tools to help them do this. Plus, if they could show their work and collaborate with others in the process, then more students will be learning from others! Google Drawings can help you with this. Students can create content, even infographics, for YOU too! Attend this session and see for yourself how easy it can be to use Google Drawings in the classroom! Lots of examples will be provided too! :-)
